VINA-According to State Troopers Colbert County Extension Coordinator Danny McWilliams, 44 of Tuscumbia has been in involved in a serious auto accident that happened at 10:30 am today, November 4th on Franklin 23 just outside of Vina.
Officials say it was a one-vehicle accident and McWilliams was driving a 2014 F-150 that left the road hitting a tree.
McWilliams was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital were he is in critical condition in the surgical intensive care unit according to hospital officials.
Danny McWilliams was on his way to Vina High School to conduct a demonstration when the accident happened.
The accident is under investigation by the Quad-Cities State Trooper Post.
