Muscle Shoals, AL – Northwest-Shoals Community College’s (NW-SCC) Foundation will hold the 20th Annual Pathfinder’s Dinner Monday, October 22, 2012 at the Listerhill Banquet Hall, Listerhill Credit Union, 4790 East 2nd Street, Muscle Shoals, AL. The Pathfinder’s Dinner will be preceded with a silent auction at 6:00 p.m. and dinner beginning at 7:00 p.m. The evening will feature keynote speaker, will be former Alabama Coach Gene Stallings.
Coach Stallings is a well known former football player, national champion head coach and motivational speaker. He played college football at Texas A&M University (1954–1956), where he was one of the “Junction Boys”, and later served as the head coach at his alma mater from 1965 to 1971. Stallings was also the head coach of the St. Louis/Phoenix Cardinals of the NFL (1986–1989) and at the University of Alabama (1990–1996). Stalling’s 1992 Alabama team completed a 13–0 season with a win in the Sugar Bowl over Miami and was named the consensus national champion. Stallings is currently a member of the Board of Regents of the Texas A&M University System. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 2010.
The semi-formal evening will consist of dinner, music and surprise entertainment. Contributions are federal income tax deductible and all proceeds will go to the NW-SCC Foundation Scholarship Fund.
