Clyde Phillip “Phil” Clark – Obituary

Mr. Clyde Phillip “Phil” Clark, age 70, husband of Sharon Clark, and a resident of Linden, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center with his family by his side.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 4-8PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Military honors will be provided by the United States Army. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on October 9, 1947 in Mt. Pleasant, Phil was the son of the late Paul Clark, Sr. and the late Betty Norman Clark. He was a member of Freewill Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, and worked as an electrician for forty-five years. Phil was a sportsman who loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was beloved husband and wonderful father and grandfather. Phil was an amazing man to everyone and an all around great person.

In addition to his wife of twenty-eight years, Sharon, he leaves behind to cherish his memory his children: Crystal Clark of Columbia, Jason (Jess) Sweat of Kentucky, Jeanie (Andrew) Tate of Parsons; grandchildren: Cammi Powell, Cameron Sweat, Jayda Powell, Peyton Andrew Phillip Tate, Ryder Tate, Jaxx Tate; and a great grandchild on the way: Hadleigh Gail.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife: Gail Floyd Clark; brother: Paul Clark, Jr.; and very special uncle: Allen “Unk” Clark.
