Clyde Lee Melson Clyde Lee Melson, age 56 of Winchester, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Erlanger Medical Center. He was born on June 27, 1964 in Lewisburg, to the late Clyde Ambros Melson and Mary Pearl Mearse Adams. Clyde was employed for many years in construction and was a skilled roofer. He loved to spend time outdoors fishing, camping, and sitting around the campfire with his family and close friends. He also enjoyed spending time with his pet snakes and listening to ACDC. Clyde was quiet and reserved, but extremely kind hearted. He is survived by his sons, Anthony Hood of Alabama, Eric Scott of Winchester; sisters, Bobbie Ballenger of Decherd, Robbie (Robert) Reed of Winchester; brother, Clyde Bruce Melson of North Carolina; aunt, Dorothy Jean Melson of Murfreesboro; neighbor and special niece, Bobbie Lee and family; several nieces and nephews, lots of cousins; and live in best friend, Benny G. Powers. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 1:00 P.M. on Monday, December 21, 2020 in the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home, with Rev. Todd Coutta officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Garner Cemetery in Decherd.
