Clyde “Kink” Hodges, age 93 of Jasper, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Walker Memory Gardens. Scott Argent will officiate.
Mr. Hodges was preceded in death by his Father-Travis Hodges; Mother-Jessie Hodges Murray; Step-Father-J.D. Murray, Sr.; Sisters-Essie Oliver; Brothers-John Hodges, Sr., Clifton Hodges, J.D. Murray, Jr. and Charles Murray.
He is survived by his Wife-Blanche Hodges; Daughters-Dianne Myers (Bruce), Janice Lollar (Kermit), Brenda Kimbrell (Bert) and Deborah Key; Sons-Gary Hodges, Mark Hodges and Donald Hodges (Sylvia); Sisters-Shirley Jones Winters, Barbara Aldridge and Johnnie Ruth Parrish; Brother-Jerry Murray; Grandchildren-Jason Myers, April Dunn, Rhonda Scott, Wendy Morrison, Ginger Lollar, Stacia Kimbrell, Nick Key and Stone Key; 13 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Gary Hodges, Mark Hodges, Donald Hodges, Jason Myers, Nick Key and Stone Key.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Westside Baptist Church Children’s Department.
