Clyde Gillott 83, of Hartselle passed away Friday, January 10, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Winston County, Alabama on November 13, 1936 to Arthur Eudessa Gillott and John Wesley Gillott. He is preceded in death by his parents and several siblings. He is survived by his wife Levonia Freeman Gillott; two sons, James “Dickie” Gillott (Frances), Rod Gillott; one daughter, Holly Gillott Little (Hank); two brothers, Charles Gillott and Don Gillott; and two sisters, Dee Frisby and Charsley Ellis; five grandchildren, Meagan Weldon, Erin Wright, Hannah Charest, Haylee Newton and Hayden Little; three great grandchildren, Novalee Burch, Dash Weldon and Ada Burch. Visitation will be Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Sunday, January 12, 2020 at 2:00pm at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home with Brother Jack Bailey, Dickie Gillott, Eddie Turrentiine, Holly Little, Rod Gillott, Brother Tom Campbell and Brother Wendell Callahan officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be former Little League players and coaches from Neel/Danville. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to The Gideon’s International. Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
