Funeral services for Mr. Clyde Earl Bowman, age 87, are scheduled for 2:00pm Tuesday, May 10, 2016 in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Mr. Bowman passed away Friday at his Home. He was born in Lexington, Tn. on May 30, 1928 to the late William Monroe and Arbie Middleton Bowman. He worked in construction all of his life. He was a longtime foreman for B&B Construction in Adamsville. He later retired from Paragon Construction Company of Sheffield, Al. After retirement Clyde enjoyed gardening and raising tomatoes. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a longtime resident of Adamsville, Tn. and a faithful member of Adamsville First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son- Richard Nelson Bowman, brother- Billy Joe Bowman and sister- Mary Bowman Hardin. He is survived by his wife- Pauline Britt Bowman of Adamsville, Tn.son- William Earl Bowman (Nancy) of Jackson, Tn. sister- Martha Bowman Kail (Burl) of Jackson, Tn. 6 grandchildren- Teneille Bowman Dickey, Brooke Bowman Dorris, Jozette Bowman Forastiere, Casey Bowman, Josh Bowman, and Keenan Bowman O’Neal. 2 step granddaughters- Erica Gonzales Becklar and Amanda Moore. 5- great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren. Pallbearers to serve will be- Terry Adams, Josh Bowman, Jimmy Britt, Todd Dickey, Clint Dorris and Greg Martin.
