Clyde Bedwell, age 92, of Greenbrier, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023 at NHC Springfield. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Monday, January 30, 2023 in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Greenbrier with Bro. Ken Castleberry and Bro. John Briggs officiating. Burial will follow is Springfield Memorial Gardens with Michael Boyce, Michael Peterson, Mike Vaccarella, Jerry Gregory, Monty Gregory and Ivan Bell serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 10am until time of the service at 2pm Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Bedwell was born October 27, 1930 to the late Ora Foden and Essie Marie Ellis Bedwell. He retired from the glass plant at Ford Motor Company.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bedwell was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Leo “Kitty” Bedwell.
He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Margery Bedwell; daughter, Nancy Mellinger; granddaughter, Christina Anne Peterson; and 6 great grandchildren.
