Clois Marshall Maness was born February 4, 1933 to Ocie and Myrtle Maness. He went to be with the Lord in Heaven on March 27, 2017. He was preceded in death by two wives, Georgia Faye Hayes and carol Jane Dyer and his parents. He is survived by his wife, Deloris Maness; one brother, Delbert Maness; one son, Charles (Linda) Maness; one stepson, Tim (Crystle) Nichols; four grandsons, Shane (Renee) and Lee (Sarah) Maness, Dakota Alexander, and Jacob; three granddaughters, Paige Zeilke, Patience and Hadlee Nichols; and two great grandsons, Luke and Cameron Maness.
He lived a long happy life, enjoyed camping, fishing, and riding horses with his friends, The Tennessee Ramblers, and talking with all his friends at Myracle’s Grocery. He asked to remember him as before he became sick. He chose cremation. He was ready and prayed often to go meet his Lord. He often told me at bedtime and the end of another day, “If I don’t make it tonight, I’ll see you in Heaven”.
