Clifton Pylant, Jr., age 74 of Athens, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at North Alabama Medical Center. Mr. Pylant was born February 9, 1945 in Limestone County to Clifford Pylant and Anna Gullet Pylant.
Funeral services for Mr. Pylant will be held Friday, May 31, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. with Jason Parnell officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Pylant; daughters, Donna Corum (Johnny) and Denice Sayre (Kenny); son, Clifton Carl Pylant; brother, Douglas Smith; 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents; son, Glenn Pylant; daughter, Lisa Patterson.
