Clifton “Pap” Franklin, age 80, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Wednesday February 17th, 2016, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Hamilton, Alabama.
Visitation,6:00 – 9:00 p.m., Friday February 19th, 2016, at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel in Hamilton, Alabama. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m., Saturday February 20th, 2016, at Fairview Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will in Liberty Cemetery.
Mr. Franklin is survived by his wife, Betty Franklin; children, Beth (Sam) Wilson, Pam (David) Humphres, and Ben (Angie) Franklin; 5 grandchildren, Kevin (Bobbi) Wilson, Kyle Wilson, Justin (Chelsea) Humphres, Jordan Humphres, and Connar Frankilin; 3 great-grandchildren, Sadie Wilson, Lydia Humphres, and Laney Humphres, brothers and sisters, D. W. Franklin, Jean Emerson, Roland Shotts, Jimmy Shotts, and Betty Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Franklin and Gerthie Shotts; step-father, Clyde Shotts; 1 son, Sam Franklin; and 1 brother, Denford Franklin.
