Clifton L. Loyd, 80 of Gary, IN, passed away on April 1, 2016.

He was born on August 6, 1935. Clifton Retired from LTV after 40 years of service. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 2-3pm at Kelly Mill Baptist Church in Double Springs, where services will be held at 3pm. Brother Donnie Dodd will officiate. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Winnie Loyd; daughter, Bonnie (Mark) Schaeffer; sister, Della Banks 4 grandchildren, James Bickers, Jessica (John) Schouten, Amanda Elea and John Baker; and many great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Baker
