Clifton Cleo Lane, 86, Russellville, Alabama passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015.
Mr. Lane lived his entire life in Franklin County and was a member of Tharptown Baptist Church. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Cattlemen’s Association. He was owner of Lane Plumbing and Heating.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 15, 2015, 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville with Bobby Amos officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Tharptown Cemetery.
Survivors include children, Joe Lane (Brenda), Patrick Lane, Jeannie Martin (Richard), Danna Grant (Mike), Stacy Lane; sisters, June Amos and Barbara Amos; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Lane; brothers, William, Herman, Hoyt and Howard Lane; sisters, Louise Moland and Mildred Wells.
