Clifford Wayne Kennamer, 73, of Guntersville, Alabama, passed away on May 20th, 2026 surrounded by his wife and sons.
Born on July 14, 1952, in Guntersville, Alabama, Clifford was the son of Roy “Buddy” and Kathleen Kennamer. He attended DAR High School and went on to serve four years in the Army. After his service, he attended Jacksonville State University. He worked, and retired, for the United Stated Postal Service; He started his own business in 1988, Alert Auto Transport which he grew and eventually sold in 2002. He engaged in many other entrepreneurial adventures over his 50 year career. He was known for his strength of faith, work ethic, and a dry sense of humor.
Clifford was a devoted father, husband, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his wife, Cindy; his children, Brent Kennamer (Arhely) and Mark Kennamer (John Paul Bruno); his stepchildren, Christian, Kennedy, and Spencer; and his grandchildren, Camila and Noah.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Kathleen; his brother, Royce Kennamer; and sister, Cheryl Kennamer Whitaker.
A funeral will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Guntersville First Methodist Church. Visitation beginning at 10:00am and service at 11:00am, followed by burial at Crestview Cemetery.
