Cliff Gordon Hannah of Henderson  Mr. Clifford Gordon Hannah, age 91, passed away March 4, 2021 at his home in Henderson.

He was born in Millington, TN November 15, 1929, son of the late David Noah and Effie Idora Chromster Hannah. He grew up in Memphis and graduated from Frayser High School. In his early career he laid carpet and tile for several years. He then raised cattle for Abraham Cattle Company in Memphis. He also owned Meman Shelby Forest Riding Stables, retiring in 1996. He married Ruby Taylor Maness on June 29, 1979 and they moved to Henderson upon his retirement.

He loved life and having friends and especially enjoyed his friends at the Chester County Senior Center. He enjoyed rabbit hunting, trail riding, camping, horses and playing cards – a true cowboy at heart! He was a member of the Palestine Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Ruby Hannah; two sons Frank Hannah, Cliff Hannah II (and wife Rachel) all of Memphis; three daughters Karen Paquero of Mason, TN, Carol Hannah and Susan Marie Hannah both of Somerville, TN; three stepdaughters Rhonda Wilson and Vickie Beshires both of Henderson and Monica Baskin of Millington, TN; five sisters Betty Jo Lyons and Rachel Bray of Memphis, Peggy Killam and Gwen Hannah of Shelbyville, IL, and Bunny Daly in California; 22 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jackie Maness; a daughter Patricia Hannah; two brothers David and John Hannah; and a sister Lucy Walker.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Monday, March 8, 2021 at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Henderson – Crook Ave. Chapel with Anthony Rowland officiating and burial in Little Hatchie Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Crook Ave. Chapel on Monday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
