Clifford Davis Short, 68 of Huntsville, died Friday December 8, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mr. Short was born October 29, 1949 in Madison County to Henry Ford Short and Mildred Corum Short. He worked as a painter for D & J Enterprises until his retirement.
Mr. Short was a member of Brindlee Mountain Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife: Sylvia Lawrence Short; his son: Christopher David Short; his father: Henry Ford Short; grandchildren: Taylor Marie Short, Jacob David Short, Abigail Dorothy Short and Hanna Grace Short and his brother: George Eugene Short. He was preceded in death by his mother: Mildred Corum Short and a brother and sister: Greg Short and Brenda DuPree.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday December 11, 2017 at Brindlee Mountain Chapel in Morgan City with Brother: Robbie Boyd, officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery, Morgan County with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel and Brindlee Mountain Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Eric Johnson, Donnie Lawrence, Jason Humphery and Tony Miller.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at Brindlee Mountain Chapel in Morgan City.
