Jo Aaron Clemmie Jo Aaron, better known as Jo, 74, of Fort Payne, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. She was born December 1, 1951 to the late Billy Joe Busby and Edna Wayna Smith Busby. Mrs. Aaron was an active and faithful member of Adamsburg Community Church. She was known for her nurturing spirit and was a “Mama” and “MawMaw” to all who knew her.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Rayford Bethune and grandson Rev. Tyler Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Walkers Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12 noon until the 2 p.m. hour of service.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years Rickey Aaron; children Gene Aaron (Vickie), Timmy Aaron, Tonya Jacobs (John), and Sherrie Edwards (Riley); brother Billy Busby; sisters Kathy Jones and Bobbia Hudgins; grandchildren Nathan Aaron, Ashley Haynes, Tyler Jones, Makayla Harris, Johnathon Jacobs, Caleb Jacobs, Shawn Bowen, Grace Bowen, and Rebekah Edwards; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings.

Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of services.
