Cleburn Harris Jr., 76, of New Hope, passed away Tuesday.
Jr. was a true country boy at heart, known for his love of the outdoors and the simple joys of life. He found happiness in spending time with his family, working in the yard, and heading out on hunting trips. Jr.’s warm spirit and dedication to those he loved made him a beloved husband, family member, and friend.
He will be remembered for his big heart, his hardworking nature, and the way he cherished the moments spent with those closest to him.
He was preceded in death by father, Cleburn Elvis Harris and mother, Reba Colburn Harris.
Surviving by his loving wife, Theresa Harris; sisters, Charlene, Janice, and Elois; children, Randy (Charlene) Gothart, Ronnie (Pam) Gothart, and Robbie (Jill) Gothart; grandchildren, Christopher (Stephanie) Gothart, Vanessa (Daniel) Marcum, Christa (Jonathan) Duncan, Cody (Kirsten) Gothart, Holly Gothart, and Sydney (Hunter) McEntire; and great grandchildren, Kylie, Carleigh, John Riley, Bryce, Aubrey, Jackson, Hallie, Alina, and Bowen.
Visitation will be Wednesday 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial services will follow Wednesday at 6:00 PM with Cody Gothart officiating.
