Mr. Clayton Charles Hasting, age 70, died Saturday at his residence. Mr. Hasting was born Oct. 26, 1947, in Limestone County. He was a home builder and a member of Truth Baptist Church. Services will be Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, 2 p.m., at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Bruce Barber and Donald Terry officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, from noon until service time. Interment will be at Antioch Cemetery.
Survivors include wife, Linda Hasting, of Athens; daughter, Cindy Hasting Elmore, and son, Anthony Thomas Hasting, both of Athens; and grandson, Donald Christian Saylors, of Athens.
He was preceded in death by one son, Brandon Lee Hasting.
