Claudia E. Henry, 76 of Guntersville, Georgia Mountain, passed away Thursday August 20, 2026, at her residence. She was born October 2, 1949, in Kanawha City, West Virginia, the daughter of James Arnold Bennett, Sr. and Madelynn Vickers Bennett. She was a graduate of Charlston High School, Class of 1967. She married the love of her life, Ronnie Henry, September 30, 1972. Ronnie traveled from Columbus, Georgia, to West Virginia to attend a friend’s wedding, which was the groom of Claudia’s sister, and it was at that wedding that Ronnie and Claudia first met. She was a member of Gilliam Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years: Ronnie Henry; brother: Thomas Bennett (Marie); sisters: Elicia Davis and Kay Bennett; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside Service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Arab Memorial Cemetery with Jamey Pruitt officiating, Gober Funeral Chapel directing.
