Claudia Beatrice “Bea” Rogers

Claudia Beatrice “Bea” Rogers, 74, of Bridgeport Alabama, passed away on September 6, 2020 in Macedonia Alabama surrounded by family. Bea was born April of 1946 to Claude Rosser Holder and Freddi B. Estelle “Sissy” Holder. Bea married Randy Ray Phillips and had two daughters, Crystal Renae Siniard and Teresa Kay Phillips.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and husband; sister, Patsy Ann Cooper; brothers: Charles William “C.W.” Holder, Floyd Lester Holder, Harold Junior Holder, Johnny Rayford Holder, and Kenneth Edward Holder.
To cherish her memory remains, her sister Brenda Fay Mankin; daughters, Crystal (Jeff) Siniard and Teresa Phillips; grandchildren: Jonathan Craig Cornelison, James Anthony Whitehead, Tiffany Renae Whitehead, Heather Nichole (Mark) Boyanton, Dakota Ray (Jade) Phillips, and Christopher Ross Beckler; step-grandchildren: Nathaniel Ryan Siniard, Hannah Paige (Tyler) Kelleher, Grace Isabella Siniard, Graham Hall Siniard:great-grandchildren- Randi Lewis Boyanton, Cardin Anthony Whitehead, Breanna Rayland Boyanton, Kaylyn Renae Whitehead, and Alaiia KaLillie Phillips; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Beatrice attended Bridgeport High School and was the only of eight children to graduate. Immediately after graduation she went to work at Dover Mills in Pisgah. She was later employed by R&R Hosiery and Beaulieu of America until she retired. After retirement she held small jobs, volunteered in community events, and watched her grandchildren. Over the course of her life Beatrice was a dedicated mother, grandmother sister and friend . She never missed a graduation, awards ceremony, sporting event, practices, proms, weddings, birthdays, or any event no matter how small. She remained active by playing ball in the yard with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the best mother, grandmother, and friend we could have ever been blessed with.

Due to the Covid19 pandemic there will only be a graveside service Wednesday September 9, 2020 at Davistown Cemetery at 4:00pm. Family and friends welcome but we understand if you choose not to attend. There will be a funeral procession leaving Scottsboro Funeral Home at 3:15 p.m. for anyone who would like to follow to the cemetery. We would like to thank you for your respect and prayers during this time and ask everyone to please practice social distancing at cemetery.
