Claude-Vaughn-1461674655Claude “CL” Lindsey Vaughn age 76 of Tuscumbia, died Monday, April 25, 2016. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will be Thursday, 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Ed White officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.

C.L. was a Colbert County native, retired from Reynolds Alloys and served in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a good husband, father and grandfather, an avid Alabama football fan and Harley Davidson Motor Cycle fan. He enjoyed; traveling, practicing cartoonist and loved his animals.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Evaline Vaughn, brother, Andrew Vaughn and sisters, Betty Russell and Catherine Giddings.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Angela Foust Vaughn of Tuscumbia, children; Regina Vaughn McKenzie, Tommy Vaughn, Dennis Vaughn and wife Karen; brother, John T. Vaughn of Sheffield; sister, Deanna Gunn of Sheffield; grandchildren, Craig Holden, Danika Vaughn, Braden Rhodes, Mandy Rice, Ricky Rice; and, seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Craig Holden, Johnny Vaughn, Terry Mashburn, Curtis Kilgore, Johnny Davis and Perry Williams.
