Mr. Claude “Boo” Mason, 86, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Summerford Nursing Home. He was born August 19, 1937, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to William Albert Mason and Mary Elizabeth Reynolds.
Claude “Boo” Mason was born in Baton Rouge and grew up in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Boo graduated from Tulane University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree, a Law Degree and Juris Doctorate and still holds the Tulane Football Team’s record for the rushing and receiving yards. He served his country as a Captain and Pilot in the U.S. Airforce. Boo was happily married to Sue Mason for thirty years. He and Sue loved to take adventurous trips all over the world. Boo was a great athlete, father, and husband and he loved life and family and living life to the fullest.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Tommy Mason.
