Clark Jones Smith, 90 of Joppa passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice in Albertville. He was born in Alabama February 23, 1935. He was a graduate of Arab High School, served his country with honor and courage in the United States Army and was retired from the Ford Motor Company.
He is survived by his children: Jody Smith and Beth Michel; grandchildren: Keith Smith, III and Jospeh Smith; great grandchildren: Kamiele Smith, Keith Smith, IV, Hollis Smith; Kylie Washington-Smith and Gage Washington-Smith.
The family has chosen to honor his wishes with cremation with no formal service. Gober Funeral Chapel assisted the Smith family with cremation arrangements.
