Clarence Wayne Adair, age 74, of Double Springs, AL. passed away Tuesday January 26, 2021 at his home. He was retired from the U.S. Forest Service and a self employed Poultry Farmer. He served as a deacon at Adair Chapel Church until its closing. He and his wife Sharon became members at Henryfield First Congregational Methodist Church, where he loved to help with singing.
His visitation will be Friday January 29, 2021 from 11:00AM – 1:00PM at Henryfield First Congregational Methodist Church. The funeral will be at 1:00PM at the church, with Bro. Hugh Cavender and Bro. Danny Page officiating. Burial to follow in Barnett Chapel Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Partridge Adair; daughter, Christy (Danny) Page of Double Springs, AL.; grandchildren, Caitlin Page and Brandon (Angelia) Page; great grandchild, Brycen South; brother, David (Dorothy) Adair of Double Springs, AL.; sister, Glenda (Wayland) Patterson of Panama City, FL.; sister in law’s, Janice (Melton) Partridge of Addison, AL. and Iris Dye of Jackson’s Gap, AL.; a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Rebie Adair; brothers, Steve Adair and Kenneth Adair; sister, Brenda Watts; nephew, Steve Farley.
