Clarence Thomas “Tommy” Wilbourn III, 46 of Elkmont, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Athens Limestone Hospital. He was born April 3, 1974 to Clarence Thomas Wilbourn Jr. and Georgia Lynn Staggers.
Funeral services for Mr. Wilbourn will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Ross Clemmons officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will be in Trenton Cemetery in Trenton, AL.
Tommy is survived by his loving daughters, Lea Danielle Wilbourn and Katie Lyn Wilbourn; brother, James Paul “Jimmy” Wilbourn (Michelle); father, Clarence Thomas Wilbourn Jr. (Debbie); mother, Georgia Staggers Richardson; grandmother, Bettye Staggers, whom he loved dearly; fiancée Donna Robinson McCarley; several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence Thomas and Christine Wilbourn; grandfather, James Paul Staggers; sister, Linley Wilbourn.
Tommy was a graduate of East Limestone High School and employed by BASF for the past twenty-one years. He loved Alabama Football, hockey, exploring State Parks, panning for gold and watching “The Office”. Those who knew Tommy knew his deep love for his family and friends and he spent his entire adult life doing for others. Therein was his joy.
Pallbearers will be his family and friends.
