Clarence Edward “Ed” Medders, age 86 of Cordova, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Hurd Shoals Cemetery. Bro. Ben Godwin will officiate.
Mr. Medders was preceded in death by his Father-Carter Medders; Mother-Jenny Medders; Second Mother-Lily Medders; Son-Terry Medders, Sr.; Six Sisters; Three Brothers; Grandson-David Medders.
He is survived by his Wife-Jane Medders; Daughters-Janice Keen (Terry) and Lenita Grace (Bryan); Son-Rocky Medders (Cindy); Grandchildren “raised as his own”-Terry Medders, Jr. and Lacy McKain Garner (Blackston); 8 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Terry Medders, Terry Medders, III, Terry Keen, Lee Blackston, Paul Ellis and Billy Matthews.
