Clarence Dwayne Broadway, age 67, passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon on August 28th, 2019, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. He was born on September 2nd, 1951 in Hardin County Tennessee to the late Charles Broadway Sr. and the late Ruth Welch Broadway. He attended Iuka High School then served his country with honor as a Marine. He was married to Rita Evans on March 7th, 1975 and together, they had a daughter, RoseAnna on September 5th, 1979. He was a hard-working man and a diligent provider for his family throughout his life. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and a loyal friend to many. If you were lucky enough to be found within the circle of his family and friends, you knew that beneath his tough exterior lived a beautiful soul with a big heart. His unique sense of humor brought smiles and laughter to all. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Rita Evans Broadway, his daughter RoseAnna Hight, husband Todd Hight of Corinth, MS, brothers Charles Broadway Jr, wife Phyllis Broadway, David Broadway, wife Sharon Broadway, sisters, Norma Johnson, husband Luther Johnson, Sandra Jourdan, husband Craig Jourdan, four grandchildren, Dylan, Hannah, Hope and Kaylee. Mother -in-law, Norma Kemp. Services will be held at Ludlam’s Funeral Home in Iuka, MS on Saturday, August 31st, 2019. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm with a memorial service to follow at 4:00 pm. Officiating will be Rev. Nicholas B. Phillips and Bro. Phil Dawson. There will not be a graveside service
