Clara Rubert Staggs, age 94, of Summertown, TN passed away Friday, July 04, 2014 at NHC Healthcare of Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, homemaker, retired custodian for the Lawrence County School System, and a member of Summertown Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Lou Escue Rubert; her husband, Cleve Staggs; one son, Noley “Bud” Staggs; one brother, Ben T. Rubert; five sisters, Viola Chennault, Cleo Rubert, Earnestine Dye, Equilla Martin, and Betty Jo Staggs; one grandson; one granddaughter; one great-grandson; and two great-granddaughters.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, July 06, 2014 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Monday, July 07, 2014, with Ricky Glass officiating. Interment will follow at Kidd Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
