Clara Rene Swinea, 86, of Florence, passed away March 9, 2015 at Glenwood Nursing Home after an extended illness. He was a member of the Baptist faith.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 10 a.m. in Butler Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Henry Melton.
Ms. Swinea was preceded in death by her parents, Grady Henry and Annie Laura Swinea; brother, Lewis Swinea.
She is survived by her brothers, Ellis Swinea, Sr., Ernest Swinea (Lois), Clarence Swinea, Sr. (Janet) all of Florence; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Clarence Swinea, Jr., Clint Swinea, Ellis Lee Swinea, Jr., Dennis Swinea, and Dr. Keith Garrett.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
