Clara Nell Stancil, age 82, of Spruce Pine, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022 at her residence.
Mrs. Stancil was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church for many years, and enjoyed working with the children of the church. She was sweet Godly wife, mother, and grandmother who lived her life committed to God and her family. She loved bright colors and trips to the beach.
A graveside service will be at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Shady Grove Cemetery in Phil Campbell. Speaking at the service will be John Stancil and Rusty Sowell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clive & Minnie (Holland) Barnes; two brothers, Calvin, Alvin; and sister, Cecelia.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 65 years, Ervin Stancil; sons, Brian Stancil, John Stancil, James Stancil; grandchildren, Brooke, Bridgett, Justus, Jonah, Britney, Benjamin; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Logan, Caden, Jamie; several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
