Clara Jean Taylor Snow, 92, of Guin, Alabama, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021. She was born November 23, 1928, in Winfield, Alabama to the late Arlie and Grace Taylor. After graduating from Winfield City High School, she began her job in banking. She spent her entire career in banking. She truly loved her job! For many years she served at First Baptist Church Guin as Treasurer. Jean was active in her church and community. The Red Hat Society and the planning of the Guin MayFest were among her favorite activities.

Jean is survived by her son, Terry Snow of Bennett, Colorado; her daughter, Jane Wise (Andy) of Trussville, Alabama; her sister Carolyn Carroll of Hueytown, Alabama; her grandsons, Will Snow and Kevin Wise; her granddaughters, Cara Snow Desvigne, Holly Snow Coriell, Mallory Snow, Casey Snow, Kenley Wise Richards, and Jeannie Wise; six great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, Willie B Snow; her son, Randy Snow: her grandson, Ken Wise; and her siblings, Arthur Taylor, James Taylor, Ray Taylor, Harold Taylor, and Sybil Brown.

Jean’s life was a testimony of grace, faith, and strength. She will forever be remembered by her family and friends. The family extends their gratitude to Kemp Meadows in Winfield and Kirkwood by the River in Birmingham for their wonderful love and care during the last three years of her life.

A public graveside service will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, April 2, 2021, at the Guin City Cemetery with Bro. Scott Stokes officiating and Bro. Kenny Hatcher providing the music.
