Clara Gail Guindazola, age 77, a resident of Old Highway 99 in Columbia, passed away Monday, March 19, 2018 at Williamson Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 13th at 11am at First United Methodist Church with Stacy Gonzalez officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Garden of Freedom at Maury Memorial Gardens, located adjacent to Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Gail was born in Maryville, Tennessee on August 8, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Harold James and Virginia Anderson. She married the love of her life, Jose Varela Guindazola, on April 24, 1981; he preceded her in death on December 20, 2017. Together they enjoyed going out to eat and traveling the world. She admired her two yorkies, Tinker Bell and Minnie.
She is survived by her sons: Jose Guindazola III of Panama City, FL, John J. (Kim) Guindazola of Whittier, CA, Joe (Terri) Ciprian of Dickson, TN, Todd (Kellie) Ciprian of College Grove, TN; daughters: Jodi M. Huie of Joshua, TX, Ramona A. Herman of Glendora, CA, Tammy L. (Joseph) Barnes of Jacksonville, FL; brother: Michael Anderson of Glendora, CA.
