Clara Elizabeth “Betty” Clark, 90, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Thursday, August 31, 2023, at the Tishomingo Community Living Center. Mrs. Clark was of the Episcopal faith. She was a U. S. Army veteran and served in Okinawa. She retired from Ripley Screen in Iuka and enjoyed traveling and reading. She also loved helping others and spending time with her family. She is survived by four children, Kathi Clark, Donna Clark, Jeanann Willingham; and James Clark (Robert); three grandchildren, Nichole Ledbetter Walden, McKenzie Briley, and Phillip J. Clark; six great-grandchildren, Brianna Flanagan Umphrees, Joseph Flanagan, Nathan Clark, Madison Clark, Kayden Clark, and Griffin Briley; and one great-great-grandchild, Elliott Umphrees. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred M. Clark; a daughter, Ellen Clark; a grandson, Casey Joe Ledbetter; her mother, Clara Tripp Fields; a brother, Bob Fields; and a sister, Thelma Fields Santos. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, September 10, graveside at Allsboro Methodist Cemetery, officiated by Donna Clark. Interment will follow in Allsboro Methodist Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
