Clara White, 89 years 11 months and 9 days passed away May 9, 2018 at Glenwood Rehabilitation. Visitation will be Saturday, May 12, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home Central Heights. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with David Winborn officiating. Burial will be in Williams Chapel Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Clara was native of Lauderdale County and graduated from Waterloo High School Class of 1946. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Bartley White, parents, Tom and Minnie Sego; brothers, Doyle and Johnny Sego; sisters, Mary Holcombe, and Abeline Gean.
Survived by her children, sons, Warren White (Peggy) and Carlos White (Linda); daughters, Kaye White, Juanita Allison (Steve), and Lavenia “Nenie” White (Bobby); sister, Frances Williams; grandchildren, Shannon White, Mandy Holden (Brad), Adam Allison, Preston Allison (Heather), Katelyn Hughes (Jim), and Noah White; and great-grandchildren, Abbie, Emma, and Maddie Morris, Cole, Katie, Lucas, and Bryant Allison, and Alexis Hughes.
Pallbearers are Carlos, Noah, and Bobby White, Adam and Preston Allison, Brad Holden.
