Christy Carol Saxon, 53, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, January 9, 2025. She was born on May 16, 1971, in Tupelo, MS to James Lee and Carolyn Leach Saxon. Christy was a member of Center Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing gospel music with her dad, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Christy is survived by her son, Levi Salaya, her mother and stepfather, Carolyn Saxon and James Morgan, her sister, Dawn Moss (Randy), her nephew, Justin Moss (Megan), her great nieces, Maci, Mila, and Mattie Moss, her stepson, Luis Agama (Renee), her cousins, Andy and Jason Leach, her uncle, Jack Leach (Mary Glenn),and her aunt, Jane Saxon Kuzmin.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Lee Saxon, her grandparents, Ottis and Mamie Lee Saxon and Jack and Louise Leach, and her uncle, Mike Kuzmin.
Services will be Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 2PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Lewis Harrell officiating. Visitation will begin at 12 noon and continue to service time. Burial will follow in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Benny Martin, Matt Moss, Jason Britt, Jason Leach, Neil Cruse, and Nicholas Moss.
