Christopher William Greene, age 42, passed away at Ascension St. Thomas Murfreesboro on Saturday August 29, 2026. Chris was born on June 20, 1984. At the age of 26, his life changed forever when he was paralyzed in an accident. Before his injury, Chris had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed spending his time exploring the woods and going on adventures. He also had a great appreciation for good food.
Chris was preceded in death by his daughter, Autumn Greene, father, Robert Carson Greene II, and his uncle, Brian Armstrong.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Thompson Russell; his son, Braden Greene; his daughter, Jaylee Ashburn; his brother, Robert Carson “RC” Greene III; and his aunts, Debbie Thompson Armstrong and Brenda Sue (Terry) Armstrong. He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
Per Chris’s wishes, he will be cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
