Christopher Greg Barton, 34, of Haleyville, entered into rest on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012.
He was born Aug. 4, 1978, in Haleyville, Ala. to Otho Barton and Loyce Mae Hicks Barton. He was a member of the Church of Christ and attended Winston County and Haleyville high schools. He enjoyed fishing and was a mechanic at Tidco Transportation. Chris was a loyal, respectful and honest man who will be missed in the hearts of everyone.
Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, from 6-9 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held on Friday at 3 p.m. Vance Hutton will be officiating. Burial will be at Macedonia Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Charity Lynn Barton; sons, Christopher Blake Barton, Camden Greg Barton; daughters, Anna-Grace Barton, Ashley Elizabeth Barton, Chloe Lynn Hill; mother, Loyce Barton; brother, Micheal Barton; nephews, Dylan Barton, Cade Martin, Payten Martin, Carson Martin; nieces, Caitln Martin, Autumn Martin and Addisyn Martin.
He was preceded in death by his father, Otho Barton; grandparents, Otis and Bessie Hicks, William and Elafire Barton.
