Mr. Christopher Chase Hughes, age 29, of Sumiton passed away Friday, November 13, 2020 in an automobile accident. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Brasfield Cemetery. Pastor Dennis Lawson will officiate. There will be a private visitation prior to services. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Lois and Clarence Bunn; and grandmother, Brenda Shelton.
He is survived by his father, Wayne Hughes of Sumiton; step mother, Lisa Hughes of Sumiton; mother, Tracey McConnell of Birmingham; grandparents, Thomas and Jean Hughes of Sumiton; grandfather, David McConnell of Forestdale; daughter, Aubrey Graham; brother, Corey McConnell; sisters, Sidney Cork and Haley Hughes; aunt, Sherri Tyler; uncle, Ryan Tyler; uncle, Robby McConnell; aunt, Kim McConnell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
