Christopher Adam Gray of Dellrose, Tennessee went to be with our Lord at the age of 43 on Sunday evening, March 31, 2024. He was employed by the United States Army as a Logistics Management Specialist.

Chris passed away in a boating accident while doing something he loved – bowfishing.  His other favorite pastimes were basketball and soccer with his three children.   Chris was a basketball coach for his girls and others in the Ardmore community and he loved watching them grow in the sport.

He was a loving husband of 19 years, a devoted father, a caring son, and a great friend to all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Lawrence E. Gray Sr, Ida Gladys Gray, and Leonard Hunt and Melba Hunt, his two aunts, Lucy Krouse and Beverly Gray, and his two cousins, Larry Denton Gray and Sabrina Richie.

Surviving family members include his wife, Catherine Gray; his daughters, Alexis Gray and Haylee Gray; his son, Adam Gray;  his parents, Greg and Terri Gray;  his brother, Casey (Jenna) Gray;  his grandmother, Elizabeth Ann Odell;  his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Glenn and Kay Campbell; his brother-in-law, Chris Campbell; his sister-in-law, Cyndi (Patrick) Briscoe; his nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles along with lots of friends.

The family will celebrate Chris’s life during a gathering on Friday from 3pm until 5pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  His desire was to be cremated.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

He will be remembered for his love for his family, his friendliness, and for his willingness to always help others.

Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
