Christine McDougal Jackson, age 85, of Russellville, passed away on Tuesday, February 07, 2017 comfortably in her home.
Christine was a devoted Christian, a dedicated mother and grandmother, and a trusted friend. In her younger years, Christine was very active in PTA, and held several local and state positions with the PTA. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2017 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Tommy James officiating. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Jackson; daughter, Brenda Jackson Saddler and will lay to rest next to her mother, Linda McDougal. Also preceding her in death was her father, Litt McDougal; siblings, Flossie Green, Mildred McDonald, Birdie Jackson, Carrie Jackson, Marvin McDougal, Eddie McDougal, Fred McDougal, and Jessie McDougal.
Christine lived to see the fifth generation and is survived by her son, Jack Dewayne Jackson; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Mamie Vess, Littia Wolfe, Bessie Riley, and Martha Farmer; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Jack Jackson will be in deep appreciation for the members of Restoration Ranch for serving as pallbearers.
