Christine Marie Apger, 72 of Florence, passed away Monday, May 4, 2026, at her home with her family by her side.
Christine was born March 22, 1954, in Arizona, where she spent much of her life before moving to Florence, AL. 13 years ago. She was a dedicated nurse who cared deeply for others throughout her life. Christine was a loving mother and grandmother who especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Apger, and her son, Christopher Apger. She is now reunited with loved ones who have gone before her.
Christine is survived by her son, Shaun Apger, her grandchildren, and many extended family members who will miss her deeply.
Her family finds comfort in the many lives she touched and the love she gave so freely.
The family will celebrate Christine’s life at a later date.
