Christine Francis Keating Compton was born September 08, 1966 in Long Island, NY to the late Michael Francis and Josephine Mary Christoffer Keating. She was the proud mother of two children, Amanda and Andrew. Her working career was spent taking care of others as she served as a Registered Nurse. In her free time, she loved watching football, especially the Tennessee Titans and the Tennessee Vols. She loved to travel and always loved taking a trip to the beach. However, she was most proud of the time she was able to spend with her three grandchildren, Seth, Kade and Addison. Ms. Compton departed this life on Sunday, November 01, 2026 in Columbia, TN making her stay in this life some 60 years, 1 month and 24 days.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Amanda Kiddy of Pulaski, TN; Andrew Compton of Lawrenceburg, TN; five siblings, Michael Keating and wife Shelia; David Keating and wife Amy; Billie Jo Mattox and husband Mike all of Waynesboro, TN; Joe Keating and wife Cindy of Houston, TX; Danny Keating of Waynesboro, TN; She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Seth Kiddy, Kade Manning, and Addison Manning as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, November 5, 2026 from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM at Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation Chapel
Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation Chapel with Dr. Kerry Franks officiating.
