Christine Ayers

Flora Christine Gilley Ayers, 88, of Rogersville, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023. Ms. Christine was of the Baptist faith.
A visitation will be held Saturday, February 4th from 12-1 at Rogersville Funeral Home with a funeral service following in the chapel. Burial will be in Civitan Cemetery. Morris Lentz will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Chris Faires, Ricky Lard, Scotty Butler, Charles Williams, Frankie Peeden, Mike Garrett and Jim White.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Ode and Lillie Tucker; daughters, Rosemary Holt and Donna Jo Gilley; son, Roy Gilley; grandson, Anthony Gilley; sister, Magline Williams; brothers, Woodrow, Bennie, Johnny Tucker.
She is survived by children, Barbara (Mark) Faires, Patricia Marcus, Darrell Gilley, Mark “Pete” (Judy) Gilley, Randy “Bubby” Ayers; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
