Christine Adams Moody, 75, a long-time resident of Gadsden, Alabama, passed away on July 27, 2026. Born in Akron, Ohio, on April 28, 1951, Christine Adams Moody (born Christine Marie) carried with her a steady devotion to the people and places she loved, and a gracious spirit that was evident in the life she built and the memories she leaves behind.
Christine’s interests reflected a warmhearted joy in life’s bright moments—whether enjoying Disney, cheering on the Atlanta Braves, or embracing the pleasure of travel. These simple, faithful enthusiasms spoke to a person who found meaning in shared experiences and delighted in the world beyond her doorstep.
Christine is survived by her son, David; his wife; and her beloved granddaughter, Mallory, of Orlando, Florida.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 7, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Gadsden First United Methodist Church, 115 S 5th St, Gadsden, AL 35901. A Funeral Service will follow from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the same location. Christine will be laid to rest on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Forrest Cemetery in Gadsden, Alabama.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the YMCA of Gadsden or to the Theatre Department (Fund Code 0164) at William & Mary.
