Christian Dale Tease, age 52, passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 22nd at his residence in Grayson, Georgia. Christian was born in Florence, Alabama to the late William Dale Tease and Judy Christian Tease. Christian was married to Kim Luzier Tease and worked as a health care professional for the majority of his adult life but had recently begun the pursuit of a teaching career in Mathematics in honor of his late father, William Dale Tease, who was a Mathematics teacher and coach at Bradshaw High school for over 30 years. Christian graduated from Bradshaw High School in 1982 and, thereafter, attended Troy University on a Football Scholarship. Christian will be sorely missed by his family and friends. He was a champion for his nephew, Ethan Tease whose baseball career he followed with a passion; a teacher to his younger niece, Oliva Tease, who herself enjoys mathematics; an advocate for his older niece, Anastasia Tease, aiding her in the pursuit of her own medical career; and he often reminded her that “her dreams were the architect of her future;” a hero to his brother Michael Tease, who was blessed to walk in the footsteps of his brother’s legend; a great friend to his sister in law, Natalie Ciferno Tease, whom she often joked with because of his gentle nature despite his giant stature; a loving son who was faithful to the happiness of his mother, Judy Christian Tease, whom he loved dearly and never left her side during surgery or illness. Most importantly, he was dearly devoted to his wife, Kim Luzier Tease, who gave him peace, happiness and identity and to his step children Julianne Luzier, Jackson Luzier and Jackson’s daughter Kinley.
Christian is survived by his wife Kim Luzier Tease, his mother Judy Christian Tease, his brother Michael L. Tease (wife Natalie), his nieces Anastasia and Olivia Tease and his nephew Ethan Tease. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Grace and U.L. Tease, his maternal grandparents, Paul Christian, Sr. and Doris Boston Christian and his uncle Dr. Paul M. Christian. A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 28th at 4PM at Greenview Memorial Chapel located at 3657 Old Chisholm Road in Florence Alabama. Visitation will commence at 2:30 PM. Interment will follow the funeral service.
