Christi Wilhelm, age 58, went home to be with Jesus surrounded by her loving family and friends on February 13, 2026.Born on October 23, 1967, in Gadsden, AL, she is pre-deceased by her father, Charles Dawson; grandparents, Clyde and Myrtle Lancaster; Mawmaw, Ettie Pledger. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Steven Wilhelm; mother, Nancy Dawson; sisters Susan Sobolewski (Ed), DeAndra Coker (Stacey), and a host of family and friends, including Boone McCurry, Mason Ellen, and Jett Self, with whom she had special bonds.
Christi loved baking, decorating, making crafts, fishing, singing in her church choir and praise team, and she loved her family dearly. Her greatest joy was serving God by serving others.
Celebration of Life service will be held at The Church at Wills Creek on Saturday, February 21 with visitation from 2 to 4. Service immediately following.
