Christi Chong Sherrod Morris, age 35, of Florence, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 28, 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The service will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Butler Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matthew Sherrod, Trey Sherrod, Reggie Killen, John Mayfield, Matt Hamilton and Adam Bradford. Christi worked at E.C.M. Hospital as a Registered Nurse. She was a 1997 graduate of Lexington High School, attending NW Shoals Community College on a music scholarship and graduating with her Nursing Degree. She enjoyed camping, fishing, going to live music concerts and watching her children play sports. She was an avid Auburn fan and loved being with her family. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bob & Eva Sherrod and uncle, Tim Sherrod. Survivors include her husband, Clint Morris; father & step-Mother, Mark & Thelma Sherrod; father & Mother-in-Law: Ronnie & Janice Morris; children, Jackson Scott & Ava Kane; brother, Matthew Sherrod (Jessie); uncle, Trey Sherrod; several Friends who are too many to name.
