Chloe Yvonn Lowry, age 92, of Muscle Shoals, passed away November 9, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, November 24 at 712 Tuxedo Ave, Muscle Shoals, Alabama from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. Williams Funeral Home is assisting the family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Vera and Bob Drabwell; and brother, Malcome Drabwell all of London England.

Chloe is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Curtis Ray Lowry; niece, Anna Lowry McCoy and her family of Atlanta, Georgia; also, several other nieces and nephews from Alabama to Indiana. Longtime family friend, Leisa Johnson and her family. Special thanks to caregiver, Rallie Crow and Williams Funeral Home.

Chloe, originally from London, England, met Curtis Ray Lowry in Crown Point, Indiana, and they married in 1961. They formed lasting friendships there, and after their wedding, they moved to Curtis’s hometown in Alabama to settle down. Together, they shared a deep and enduring love for sixty-three years.

Chloe spent many years working as a bookkeeper for local business owners in the Shoals area. A dedicated Master Gardener, she found great joy in working her garden and unwinding on her deck, watching the river flow by. With a keen sense of style, she always stayed ahead of the trends, delighting in sparkling jewelry and a passion for looking polished and put together.  If you were lucky, you also got to experience Chloe’s impeccable sense of fashion.

Chloe was an exceptional hostess, always creating a warm and inviting home with her love of cooking and entertaining. Christmas held a special place in her heart, as it was not only the holiday season but also her birthday. Her Christmas trees were always beautifully decorated, a true reflection of her style and attention to detail. A woman of many talents, Chloe was a force of nature, and she will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched.
