FLORENCE-On Thursday, July 21 a young girl was hit by a car as she and her father were crossing Veterans Drive.
According to the Florence Police Department the 10-year-old girl and her father were crossing the road when the girl pulled away from her father and was hit by a car.
The child was air-lifted by helicopter to Huntsville Hospital with cuts on her head and arms.
The name of the child has not been released and there is no word on her condition.
